With the passing of the gavel from outgoing chair, Noah Shlaes, CRE, James Lee, CRE, Senior Principal, Kensington Realty Advisors, Inc., became the 2016 Chair of the Board.
Jim has been a member of The Counselors of Real Estate for 22 years. Since his invitation to membership in the Spring of 1993, Jim has served on the Membership Development and Executive Committees, as Vice Chair of the Budget & Finance Committee, and as a Liaison Vice Chair in 2004. He was the recipient of The Counselors’ Award for Committee Service in 2008

Joseph Nahas, CRE, was officially elected to the positon of 2018 Chair of the Board. Nahas was nominated prior to the Annual Convention and officially elected at the Board of Directors meeting in Charlotte.
Nahas was nominated a few months prior and says about his election, “I am honored to have been elected to serve as the 2018 Chair. I look forward to working with Jim, Scott, Mary and staff during this important time as The Counselors executes its new Strategic Plan.”
