Victor S. Brown Jr. is acquisitions director and managing partner of 5 Stone Green Capital - a fund that seeks to invest primarily in energy-efficient, technologically smart and sustainably designed real estate, including multi-family rental, essential retail, and light-industrial/R&D real estate assets in urban centers and metropolitan areas throughout the United States and its territories. The fund makes triple-bottom line debt and equity investments in development, redevelopment and value-add projects that: 1) can deliver superior risk-adjusted returns; 2) are green (as defined by the U.S. Green Building Council's LEED rating system and/or the U.S. Department of Energy’s Energy Star rating systems and other suitable rating systems), and 3) focus on building healthy neighborhoods and broadening access to economic opportunity. Victor graduated from Yale. He is an active proponent of affordable housing, and youth mentorship through his volunteer work with nonprofits HOMECorp., and Mid-Bronx Senior Citizen Council; and youth ministry at Brown Memorial Baptist Church in Brooklyn, New York, respectively. He lives with his wife and daughter in Montclair, New Jersey.
