John Boyd has been involved in the analysis, oversight, and creation of successful high quality developments, as well as the monitoring of development and construction phase activities. Mr. Boyd has acted as a consultant to several firms as well as participated as development and ownership partner in specific transactions. He co-founded and led a full service multifamily development, construction, & management company as SVP over 18 years, where he sourced, built, stabilized and delivered over 5,000 diverse multifamily units in over 40 developments including mixed-use communities. The properties were developed utilizing a multitude of financing structures including conventional financing as well as specialized capital stacks such as bonds, tax credits and other sources. He is active with VSB Housing Development Resources for their development functions in Texas and the Southern US, and also acts as development advisor/construction monitor for several public agency clients.
