Jay L. White, CRE, Receives Felice A. Rocca, Jr. Memorial Award

Jay L. White, MAI, CRE received the prestigious Felice A. Rocca, Jr. Memorial Award given by the Philadelphia Metro Appraisal Institute Chapter at their 2017 holiday party. Jay was awarded the honor while attending as the outgoing President of the local Delaware Appraisal Institute Chapter.

This award established in 1999 was created by the Philadelphia Metropolitan Chapter of the Appraisal Institute to honor and recognize one of their most distinguished person(s) who was an inspiration to all in the real estate profession for decades, Felice A. Rocca, Jr., CRE, MAI, SREA.  Felice A. Rocca, Jr., had an upbeat view of life, gentlemanly demeanor, and a high sense of ethical behavior on a personal and professional level—a person of integrity. was highly regarded as an appraiser and as an educator, and became a mentor to dozens of individuals entering the profession, giving freely of his time and talents. In short, he was devoted to the appraisal profession, and this award honors his memory.

Jay is honored to be recognized by his peers with this award for his contributions to the real estate community.  He joins a prestigious list of previous Counselor members including Reaves Lukens, MAI, CRE® Walt D’Alessio, CRE, MAI, Bernie Camins, MAI, SREA, CRE®, Maureen Mastroieni, MAI, CRE®, and Joe Pasquarella, MAI, CRE® to name a few.
