The project had a total cost of $146 million and consisted of 229 residential condominium units, a two-story, 150,000 square foot retail complex and a 90,000 square foot health club. Structured a pre-sale of the health club space and negotiated a single $110 million construction loan commitment for the condo and retail project. |
| Advised the Board of Directors of a publicly-traded REIT on strategic and financial alternatives to maximize shareholder value. Underwrote 50 properties (located in seven states) and the company in 45 days. Sold or refinanced $117 million of properties, including a $60 million REMIC via three refinancing transactions and one portfolio sale transaction that all closed on the same day. Advised on strategies regarding the bankruptcy of the company's largest tenant. |

Financed the land acquisition and its development ($200 million cost), creating value for the development company. Sold 70% of the development company for $25 million. Advised on the sale of 40% ownership stake in a public residential mortgage banking firm. Refinanced and disposed of other income-producing assets. |
