Bay Development Tour
Join local CREs on a tour
of Mission Bay, the largest urban infill development project
(303 acres) in San Francisco. Formerly the South Pacific Railroad
Company’s railyard, the new mixed use community will include
over 6,000 residential units, 6 million sq. feet of office/life
science/technology commercial space, 800,000 sq. feet of retail
space, a 500 room hotel, 49 acres of public open space, a new
500 student public school, and a new library, fire and police
station. The total development cost is expected to exceed $4
billion.
